About this role
PHP, Java, Python, Software Architecture, Machine Learning (ML), Node.js, Software Development, Data Management · I want to build an AI-powered application that automatically safeguards my personal files—mainly photos and documents—without me having to think about it. The core requirement is smart, continuous backup: the system should recognise new or modified files, decide whether they need versioning or simple duplication, and transfer them to secure storage on a schedule I can adjust.
Key capabilities I’m after • Intelligent file detection and change tracking • Incremental, bandwidth-friendly uploads with on-the-fly encryption • Simple, clear restore workflow for individual items or full sets • A dashboard that shows backup status, storage use, and error reports
I’m happy to discuss which storage targets to integrate first (local devices, popular cloud drives, or any other logical option you suggest) as long as the architecture leaves room for future connectors. Prefer modern, well-documented code—Python or Node are fine, but I’m open to other stacks if they make the AI logic easier to maintain.
