About this role
JavaScript, NoSQL Couch & Mongo, Node.js, AngularJS, Web Development, Smart Phone/Tablet Apps, API Development, WebRTC, MERN Stack, Video Conferencing · I want to build a single web-based social network that fuses the experiences of Facebook, YouTube, Zoom, WhatsApp and Messenger. The audience is international, so the interface must launch in English and scale easily to every major language.
Core experience • Real-time video calling and group conferencing • Instant messaging with voice, text and file sharing • Rich content creation and publishing (posts, stories, live streams) • Unified notifications, profile management and privacy controls
Technical vision A modular, service-oriented architecture—React or similar for the front end, Node.js-based APIs (or the stack you propose) for the back end, WebRTC for live calls, and a scalable cloud deployment that can grow to millions of users. The codebase should be clean, fully documented and hand-over ready. Internationalisation (i18n) hooks must be in place so additional languages can be plugged in without rewriting core logic.
