About this role

PHP, Mobile App Development, Android, Software Architecture, Node.js, Kotlin, Android App Development, App Development · I’m adding a free-trial membership to my Android mobile app and need an experienced developer to wire everything up smoothly. The core goal is simple: a new user installs the app, taps “Start Free Trial,” and immediately gains access to premium features for a limited period before deciding whether to subscribe long-term.

Here’s what I already have: the app is live on Android, built with standard Kotlin and Jetpack components. What I need from you is the full trial workflow—front-end prompts, Google Play Billing Library integration, trial duration settings, and automated conversion or expiration logic. A lightweight, well-documented back-end hook (Firebase, Node or similar) that records each trial’s status would also be helpful so I can track uptake and cancellations.

I’m flexible on authentication—email/password, social logins, or phone verification are all on the table—so feel free to suggest what will mesh best with the codebase and Play-store requirements.

Deliverables (all discrete): • Working trial membership flow inside the APK • Clean, commented code for billing and expiry handling • Brief setup notes so I can repeat the process in future releases • A quick hand-o
