About this role
JavaScript, C# Programming, MVC, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Web Development, jQuery, ASP.NET MVC · I need an experienced ASP.NET developer who can take full ownership of both the front-end and back-end of a web application that is already underway. The stack is classic Microsoft: C#, MVC, Web Forms, Razor views, SQL Server, a dash of JavaScript/jQuery on the client side, and IIS for hosting.
The priority is speed—we have features queued up and they must go live as soon as possible, so I’m looking for someone who can jump in, understand the existing codebase quickly, and start delivering new modules without hand-holding. Typical tasks include:
• Extending or refactoring existing Web Forms and MVC pages • Writing clean, testable C# business logic and LINQ/Entity Framework data access • Tweaking front-end behaviour (partial views, AJAX calls, validation) so the UX feels modern and responsive • Deploying to our staging server and fixing any issues that surface in QA
Acceptance criteria for each feature will be provided up front; once the code passes review and functions correctly on staging, the milestone is complete. Good Git hygiene, clear commit messages, and brief inline comments are expected.
