About this role

PHP, Website Design, WordPress, HTML, Git, Web Development, Documentation, Vercel · I have an existing Astro-powered website sitting in a private GitHub repository that needs to go live quickly and cleanly before we move on to a full visual overhaul. Phase I is a two-week engagement, capped at $2.5 k, focused purely on getting a solid, shareable preview online and tightening up project documentation.

Here is what I need from you during this first phase:

• Audit the current repository to confirm the build is production-ready and spot any show-stoppers. • Recommend a hosting solution with a clear cost breakdown—cost-effectiveness is the primary concern. • Spin up a live preview (Vercel, Netlify, or any comparable platform) so stakeholders can click through the site. • Expand the README to cover local setup, the exact build process, and clear instructions on adding or modifying service entries.

Success looks like a working preview link, an updated README that a new developer could follow without questions, and a concise hosting proposal I can take to finance.

Phase II will tackle the redesign once Phase I has been signed off.

When you respond, link me to three Astro sites you’ve personally built and deployed so I can gauge code quality and deployment style
