About this role
PHP, Website Design, Graphic Design, SEO, CMS, HTML, Squarespace, Web Design · I need a clean, modern website that places my books center-stage and makes it effortless for visitors to discover, learn about, and buy them. The core of the site will be dedicated book pages that showcase each title’s cover, a concise summary, selected review quotes, and clear purchase buttons that link out to retailers—I do not want a built-in store or shopping cart.
Alongside the book section, the site should include a well-designed author biography page to introduce my background and writing style. Visual consistency, mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and basic on-page SEO are important so search engines and readers alike can find me easily.
Please build the site on a user-friendly CMS (WordPress, Squarespace, or a similar platform you recommend) and leave me with clear instructions so I can add future releases without touching code.
Deliverables • Fully responsive website with Home, Books, and Author Bio sections • Each book page containing summary, review excerpts, and outbound purchase links • Customizable template for adding new books in the CMS • Final hand-off of all source files, style assets, and admin login credentials
