About this role
PHP, Python, Data Entry, Software Architecture, Google App Engine, API, Data Integration, Automation · I need an automated workflow that pulls records from a specified online database and inserts them into my existing system with the right formatting and field mapping. The task covers designing the script or tool, setting up secure connection/authentication, and ensuring the incoming data is consistently structured—no manual keystrokes involved.
Because timing isn’t critical for me, you can propose a schedule that allows for thorough testing and incremental improvements. What matters most is reliability: once the automation is in place it should run error-free, log any anomalies, and provide a simple way for me to trigger or schedule future imports.
If you’ve built similar data-grabbers or API-based import utilities, let me know—especially the languages or platforms you prefer (Python, RPA tools, Zapier, etc.). I will supply database access details and the destination schema after we agree on the approach.
