AWS to BinaryLane Migration

About this role
System Admin, Linux, Cloud Computing, Amazon Web Services, DevOps, GitHub, Database Management, CI/CD, SaaS · I have two SaaS sites running on AWS (EC2 + RDS + S3) that I now want moved to BinaryLane (www.binarylane.com.au) . Both stacks are fairly standard—no exotic networking or custom AMIs—so this should mainly be a clean lift-and-shift and a bit of re-wiring.
Scope of work • Spin up equivalent BinaryLane instances, copy the codebases, databases, SSL certificates and cron jobs, and confirm the apps are fully functional on their new hosts. • Point the DNS once we’ve run smoke tests and I give the green light. • Leave all image and document storage on AWS S3; update the apps so they continue to read/write to the same buckets without any broken links. • Recommend and integrate a cost-effective transactional email solution (Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun—whichever you feel gives the best value). I just need the templates sending reliably; no fancy marketing flows.
Ideally, keeping the ci/cd connection from GitHub for future works done.
Acceptance I’ll consider the job done when both sites load on BinaryLane over HTTPS, automated deployments still work, the S3 assets resolve correctly, and I see a successful test email hit my inbox via the chosen provider.
