Description: Our production Django platform (using Celery, Redis, and WebSockets) needs a focused performance and reliability pass. We need an on-call-style engineer to profile slow endpoints, fix background job bottlenecks, and improve WebSocket connection stability under load. Backend-only engagement, no design or front-end work required.

Key requirements:

Strong Python/Django experience, including Celery and Redis Experience with WebSocket-based real-time systems Comfortable with performance profiling and load testing tools (e.g. Locust, k6) Able to work reactively within a short, defined window

Deliverables:

Performance audit report with identified bottlenecks Optimized code for the top-priority slow paths Before/after load test results
