About this role

Mobile App Development, iPhone, Android, Amazon Web Services, Node.js, Flutter, API Development, REST API · I’m building a full-stack campus utility application that must run smoothly on both iOS and Android. The first release has to nail mess management—daily menus, pre-booking, feedback capture, and simple analytics—before we layer in the contact directory, lost-and-found, complaints, and study-materials modules that will follow.

Core requirements • Authentication & data security Use JWT for session control and Flutter Secure Storage for tokens and sensitive prefs. • File handling All uploads (photos of lost items, study PDFs, menu images, etc.) should be streamed directly to AWS S3. • API performance Design lightweight REST endpoints; expect a few thousand active students during peak hours, so caching and pagination matter. • Role awareness The app must recognise three roles—Students, Faculty/Staff, and Administrators—and gate screens and API calls accordingly. • Consistent UX One Flutter codebase served to the App Store and Google Play.

Deliverables 1. Flutter source with clear folder structure and state-management approach documented 2. Node/Express (or comparable) backend with secured REST APIs and role-based access 3. Terraform or similar scripts for AWS S3 bucke
