About this role
PHP, Python, Website Design, Project Management, User Interface / IA, Software Architecture, Database Design, Web Application · Our business runs on dozens of inter-connected spreadsheets, and it is time to replace them with a single, web-based application that streamlines the entire operational workflow—from the moment stock reaches the warehouse to the final financial settlement.
Core scope The platform must handle inventory, suppliers/farmers, customers/merchants, advances, expenses, payments, settlements, and day-to-day warehouse activities in real time. Clean dashboards, quick data entry, and clear audit trails are essential so staff can focus on operations rather than spreadsheets.
User roles & access • Admin – full control over configuration, reporting, and reconciliation • Farmer – personal portal/app to view deliveries, advances, outstanding balances, and payment history • Merchant – portal/app to track orders, invoices, stock availability, and settlements
Security and role-based permissions must prevent any cross-visibility of confidential data while allowing Admin to oversee everything.
