Daily Inventory MySQL Updates
Employer not named by the sourceRemote
Frontier is not the employer and does not collect applications.
About this role
PHP, Data Entry, SQL, MySQL, Database Administration, Database Programming, phpMyAdmin, Database Management · Each day I receive fresh inventory counts that must be recorded directly in our live MySQL database. The task is straightforward but must be handled with absolute accuracy and consistency because these updates drive our ordering and fulfillment systems.
You’ll log in once daily, open the designated table, and enter a new row for every item on the update sheet. At minimum, each row needs the Product ID and the Quantity on hand; other columns (date, user stamp) are handled automatically by triggers already in place. No spreadsheet work is involved—everything is done in MySQL via phpMyAdmin or the client of your choice.
Acceptance criteria • All provided Product IDs and Quantities are entered before 4 p.m. my local time each day • Zero mismatches between the source sheet and the database after spot checks • Any anomalies (e.g., missing IDs) are flagged to me immediately by email
If you’re comfortable navigating tables, running simple SELECT queries to confirm your entries, and double-checking your work before submitting, this should be a quick daily routine for you.
