About this role
PHP, Website Design, SEO, WordPress, CMS, HTML, Web Development, Page Speed Optimization · I need a clean, responsive informational site that I can refresh with new content every single day. The core of the project is a straightforward CMS set-up—WordPress, Ghost, or another platform you’re comfortable with—that lets me log in, publish, and schedule material without touching code.
At launch the site should already include placeholder sections for the kinds of content I’ll be posting and a clear navigation structure so returning visitors can quickly find the latest updates. Good page-load speed, mobile friendliness, and basic on-page SEO are essential to keep the information accessible and easy to discover.
Deliverables • Fully functional, mobile-responsive website installed on my host • CMS configured for daily publishing and scheduling • Simple, modern theme with search, categories, and clean typography • Basic SEO plug-ins/settings in place • Short hand-off guide showing how to add new content and any bespoke features
Acceptance Criteria • Loads in under 3 seconds on standard mobile connection • Passes Google’s mobile-friendly test • I can publish a new post myself in under 5 minutes, no code required
