Develop Secure Feature-Rich Webmail

PHP, Linux, Node.js, Laravel, Network Administration, Docker, Web Development, Security · I’m building a full-fledged, browser-based mail client and need someone who can take it from concept to deployment. The core of the job is straightforward: users must be able to send and receive mail reliably, have unwanted messages filtered out automatically, and manage a built-in calendar that lives right beside the inbox.

Three role tiers have to coexist smoothly. Admins oversee system and user management, standard users handle their own mail and calendar, and guests get a strictly limited, temporary view. Whatever stack you prefer—whether that’s React + Node, Vue + Laravel, or something else entirely—role-based permissions need to be airtight.

Security is critical. I’m counting on true end-to-end encryption for every message plus strong spam and malware protection. HTTPS by default is obvious, but if you can weave in DKIM, SPF, and DMARC you’ll have my full attention.
