About this role

PHP, Python, Django, Node.js, Laravel, React.js, Web Development, Database Management · I want to launch a web-based EMR portal whose single, non-negotiable focus is appointment scheduling. Patients must be able to create an account with a straightforward email login and then pick an open slot on any doctor’s calendar without staff intervention. Real-time availability matters; once a slot is reserved, nobody else should see it.

On the clinic side, I need a clean dashboard where staff can add doctors, set or change clinic hours, block time for meetings, and track upcoming visits. Rescheduling or cancelling should update every view instantly so we never double-book. Automatic confirmation emails after each booking are essential, but SMS or other reminder channels can wait until a later phase.

I’m flexible on the tech stack—Laravel, Django, Node/React, or another well-supported framework is fine—so long as it’s secure, documented, and easy for our in-house team to maintain. Open-source components are welcome.

Deliverables • Secure web app running over HTTPS with email-based patient authentication • Patient self-scheduling workflow tested end-to-end • Admin interface for doctor availability management • Encrypted database and readable setup/ deployment notes in
