About this role
PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Git, Spring Boot, AI Development · Our AI-driven MVP is already live on a Java Spring Boot back end with a Node.js front end. It performs well, but a few stubborn bugs remain and, more importantly, the product now needs a robust analytics extension: weekly sales and revenue reports available from the admin dashboard.
Work will focus on two areas:
• Bug fixing – Triage and resolve the open issues currently tracked in our Git repository. – Refactor only where necessary to keep the codebase clean and maintainable.
• Feature addition: advanced analytics – Capture the relevant transactional data streams. – Generate and store weekly sales & revenue reports. – Expose these reports via a secure REST endpoint and a simple dashboard widget. – Include automated tests to cover data accuracy and endpoint stability.
Tech environment Spring Boot (Java 17), Node.js (Express + React widget), PostgreSQL, Git, and typical AI toolchains for data processing. Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS or GCP) is a plus because the reporting job will run on a scheduled Lambda/Cloud Function.
