Backend Development, Frontend Development · This project centres on building a robust, scalable web-based application, the core of a larger software development effort aimed at controlling and monitoring consumer-electronics hardware. The application must run entirely in the browser, yet communicate seamlessly with devices over secure APIs so end-users can configure, update and receive status information in real time.
Key technical expectations The stack is flexible as long as it is modern, well-documented and proven in production; popular choices such as Node.js with React or Python with Django are perfectly acceptable as long as they support WebSocket or similar realtime channels. A clean REST or GraphQL layer will sit between the UI and the device gateway. Strong attention to security, session management and responsive design is essential because the software will ultimately be deployed on a range of consumer devices and screens.
Deliverables • A working MVP accessible via any modern browser • Source code in a Git-based repository with clear commit history • Automated unit and integration tests covering critical paths • API documentation and a short deployment guide
