# Financial Document OCR Specialist Required

I am looking for an experienced **Data Extraction / OCR / Data Engineering specialist** to extract financial data from approximately **800 phone-scanned financial statement PDFs**.

The documents belong to multiple companies and multiple financial years, so the final output will be a **panel dataset in Excel** using a template I will provide.

Required extraction includes:

* All required financial statement numbers * Correct account/line-item mapping * Current and comparative-year values * Company name and financial year * Auditor/audit firm name * Audit report date *financial period date

The scans are often messy, rotated, skewed, low-quality, and may contain Arabic and English.

**Accuracy is the highest priority. I require a target accuracy above 98%.** The freelancer must use proper OCR/document-AI tools plus validation and manual review where necessary. Uncertain values must be flagged, not guessed.

A **pilot test will be required first** using a small sample. I will manually verify the results before awarding the full project.
