About this role
PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, MySQL, Debugging, Website Optimization, Database Management, cPanel · My client’s WordPress site is throwing page-load errors on only the shop section while the rest of the site behaves normally. I need someone who can quickly pinpoint what’s breaking the load sequence, whether it’s a misbehaving plugin, a theme conflict, or corrupted database entries, and then implement a clean, permanent fix without disrupting the live store.
The ideal outcome is straightforward: both the home page and shop pages must load reliably, with no visible PHP, 500, or JavaScript errors, and performance should return to its usual speed. Once resolved, please document the root cause and the exact steps you took so I can explain the fix to the client and replicate preventive measures on future builds.
You should be comfortable working in WordPress admin, cPanel or similar hosting dashboards, and have experience using debugging tools such as WP-DEBUG, Query Monitor, or browser DevTools. If the solution involves plugin or theme updates, rollbacks, or edits to functions.php, I expect a full backup first and a short explanation afterward.
Let me know your turnaround time and any quick diagnostics you’d like me to run before you start so we can get this wrapped up smoothly.
