About this role
PHP, Website Design, eCommerce, HTML, Node.js, Laravel, Web Development, Database Design · I need a robust online store modeled on the smooth, large-catalog experience you see on Flipkart or Amazon. The core of the project is a product listing and purchase flow that feels fast, intuitive, and reliable on both desktop and mobile.
The catalogue will initially cover three categories—electronics, clothing & accessories, and groceries—so database structure, faceted search, and category pages must scale cleanly as inventory grows. A secure shopping cart and checkout are essential, with seamless integration for credit/debit cards, popular e-wallets, and direct bank transfers.
Key deliverables • Responsive storefront with product detail, variation, and stock status • Admin panel for item upload, category management, and price updates • Checkout pipeline tied to the three payment methods above, including order confirmation emails and basic transaction logs • Clean codebase (PHP/Laravel or Node/React are both fine) with clear setup instructions • Basic reporting dashboard for sales, refunds, and inventory levels
