### Project Overview
We need a web-based system that helps a small team manage customers, automate repetitive customer-management tasks, and monitor the customer journey from initial contact through onboarding, active usage, follow-up, and renewal.
The system should be designed with **automation and AI integration in mind**, but the first version should remain simple, reliable, and easy to use.
### Core Requirements
The system should include:
* Customer management * Employee/user management * Customer assignment to employees * Customer journey/status tracking * Tasks and follow-ups * Customer activity tracking * Communication history * Notifications and reminders * Customer status and health indicators * Basic dashboard and reports * Role-based access and permissions
### Customer Journey
The system should allow us to define and track customizable customer stages, for example:
**New Lead → Questionnaire → Proposal → Contract → Payment → Account Setup → Training → Activation → Active Customer → Follow-up → Renewal**
