About this role
NoSQL Couch & Mongo, MySQL, Node.js, Express JS, AngularJS, React.js, MongoDB, REST API · The immediate objective is to establish a solid API and database layer that links our existing Node.js back end (Express/NestJS) with both MySQL and MongoDB. Once this foundation is in place, I will move on to refining the React and Angular front-end modules, squashing bugs, and adding new features as user stories arrive.
Key integrations cover both third-party services and internal micro-services, all exposed through well-structured REST endpoints written in TypeScript. A clear separation of concerns, clean code, and thoughtful error handling are crucial because future maintenance and feature work will build on whatever you ship in this first phase.
Deliverables will be accepted when: • REST endpoints for all specified resources return expected results from MySQL and MongoDB. • Connection pooling, environment-based configs, and schema migrations run without manual tweaks. • Integration tests (Jest or comparable) cover the critical paths. • A concise README details setup, env vars, and run scripts.
After this milestone, the engagement can roll into ongoing enhancement sprints—bug fixes, UI refinements in React/Angular, and additional API work—based on performance and mutua
