About this role
JavaScript, Python, Website Design, Website Management, Full Stack Development, Flask, API Development · I’m building a full-stack web application in Python with Flask at its core and I want it to feel as polished as any modern SaaS product. The visual layer needs to be clean and responsive, while under the hood the code should be clear, modular, and thoroughly tested.
Core functionality • Secure user authentication that covers sign-up, login, and password reset flows. • An admin dashboard with CRUD control over key records in a relational database (PostgreSQL or similar, using SQLAlchemy). • Real-time API integrations that pull external data at scheduled intervals. • Interactive dashboards that present that data through charts and graphs; think Plotly, Chart.js, or any library that handles live updates smoothly.
My expectations I’ll rely on you to design intuitive navigation, wire up the back-end endpoints, and handle front-end rendering—ideally with a lightweight framework such as Bootstrap or Tailwind so everything scales nicely on mobile. Code quality is critical: docstrings, meaningful commits, and unit tests are a must. Before hand-off I’d like you to run a full test pass, squash any bugs you uncover, and verify deployment on a fresh environment.
