About this role

C Programming, Python, Game Design, Software Architecture, C++ Programming, Game Development, Blender, Modding · I’m creating a complete historical total-conversion mod for Mount & Blade: Warband and need an experienced modder who can take the concept from rough notes to a fully playable release. The goal is to replace every native asset that matters—world map, factions, troops, dialogs, equipment, music and UI—so the game feels as though it was originally set in the chosen historical period.

You should already be comfortable with the Warband Module System (Python), OpenBRF for mesh and texture work, and the typical companion tools such as Morgh’s Editor or Blender when custom models are required. If you have experience scripting advanced features like diplomacy, formation AI or custom settlement mechanics, that will help the mod stand out.

Deliverables • A compiled, ready-to-drop “Modules\MyHistoricalMod” folder that runs on the latest Warband build without manual tweaks. • All editable source files: module system scripts, PSD/Blend files, BRF packs, and any third-party assets with proof of permission or appropriate licensing. • A concise read-me covering installation, key features, and instructions for future updates.

For acceptance I’ll test the build on a clean Warband inst
