About this role
PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, CSS, HTML, Web Development, Google PageSpeed Insights, Website Optimization, GTmetrix, Web Design · I only want two quick wins on the site right now: speed-up the homepage and add a simple booking enquiry form—nothing else.
1. Image optimisation Please compress every homepage image, including the hero slider, and enable lazy-loading on them all. Once done, run Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix so I can see an objective before-and-after score. A screenshot of each report will be perfect.
2. Enquiry form Near the top of the homepage I need a short form with these fields: Name, Wedding Date, Guest Count and Phone. Submissions must be emailed to info @ edensgate. co. za. Styling should match the current theme so it feels native.
Access I’ll create a separate WordPress admin account for you. Let me know if FTP or hosting access is also required for the image work.
Timing This is a same-day (or at the latest next-day) task. Once complete, please send the updated speed score screenshots and confirm the form is mailing correctly so I can test immediately.
