About this role
PHP, Website Design, WordPress, Typography, Website Testing, HTML, Web Development, Website Optimization · I have roughly ten static HTML pages that must be rebuilt in WordPress and be ready to go live no later than Tuesday. The new site should mirror the current layouts while allowing for a few subtle design refinements to smooth typography, spacing, and mobile break-points—nothing drastic.
All copy and the logo are already prepared, so the main tasks are:
• Craft a lightweight, custom WordPress theme that reproduces the existing pages with those minor visual tweaks. • Transfer my content exactly as it appears now. • Implement full on-page SEO: clean permalinks, meta titles and descriptions, alt tags, schema where useful, and an XML sitemap. • Hand over a site that is fully tested, secure, and ready to be pointed to the live domain.
Time is tight, so clear milestones and frequent check-ins will help keep everything on track. My overall budget is capped at 4,500; please plan your hours accordingly.
