Improve the existing US map visualization website so that users can:

Clearly visualize all US states. Select and highlight individual states. View state-specific information. Understand data through color-coded map regions. Search for states quickly. Zoom and pan naturally. View responsive map layouts on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Easily distinguish selected, hovered, and unselected states. Handle missing or unavailable data gracefully. 2. Main Map Requirements US map

The application should display a complete map of the 50 US states.

Each state should:

Have a unique geographic boundary. Be selectable/clickable. Support hover interaction. Have a visually distinct selected state. Display appropriate data-driven coloring where applicable.

The map should not be implemented as a collection of manually positioned HTML elements. Use geographic data such as GeoJSON/TopoJSON and render the actual state boundaries.

3. Map Interaction Hover

When the user moves the mouse over a state:

Highlight the state. Show a tooltip. Display the state's name. Display the relevant vis
