About this role
PHP, Website Design, SEO, WordPress, CMS, HTML, Web Development, Website Optimization · I need a clean, fast-loading website that functions primarily as a news-style blog where I can regularly publish Articles/News. A straightforward reader experience and easy content management are essential, so I am open to WordPress, Ghost, or another lightweight CMS if you prefer.
Key must-have: an intuitive site-wide Search functionality that quickly surfaces posts, tags, and authors. Comment sections and newsletter tools are not required at this stage, but the theme and code structure should leave room to bolt them on later without a redesign.
I will supply the domain, hosting, logo, and initial article copy. You will handle theme setup or custom coding, responsive styling, basic on-page SEO (titles, meta, schema), and a brief hand-off guide showing me how to create, edit, and schedule posts.
Deliverables • Fully deployed blog (home, category/archive, single-article, about/contact) • Configured search bar with accurate indexing • Mobile-first design tested across modern browsers • Admin walkthrough document or short screen-share session
