About this role
JavaScript, Facebook Marketing, CSS, HTML, Database Development, MERN Stack, SaaS · : I want to build a job marketplace website for labour and physical workers.
The main idea is similar to Freelancer or Upwork, but this platform will not be focused on developers or online freelancers. It will be for people who do real-world jobs such as construction, cleaning, plumbing, painting, gardening, moving, carpentry, electrical work, general labour, warehouse work, handyman jobs, and similar services.
There will be two main types of users: workers and employers/customers.
A worker should be able to create a profile where they can add their skills, experience, location, availability, expected hourly/daily rate, and photos of their previous work. They should then be able to search for jobs available in their area and apply for jobs that match their skills.
An employer or customer should be able to create an account and post a job. When posting a job, they should be able to describe what work they need, select the category, add the location, number of workers required, start date, duration, required experience, payment/rate, budget and photos if necessary.
