About this role
PHP, Website Design, Project Management, MySQL, HTML, Software Development, Web Development, Database Management · I need a full-featured, web-based Case Management System designed specifically for lawyers who deal mostly with civil matters. The application has to be secure, intuitive and ready for day-to-day law-firm workloads from day one.
Core modules I expect at minimum: • Secure user registration and login with role-based access (admin vs. lawyer) • Case lifecycle controls: open, edit, put on hold, or close, each with an auto-generated case ID • Civil-case–oriented data fields for parties, court dates, statutes of limitation and opposing counsel • Central client database tied to every matter, plus unlimited notes and time-stamped activity history • Document vault with versioning and permission checks, supporting bulk upload and quick preview • Fast search, filter and sort across matters, clients and documents • Visual dashboard showing active, pending and closed case counts, upcoming deadlines and workload distribution • Email or in-app notifications for approaching deadlines, new uploads or status changes • Printable or CSV/PDF exports for court filings, matter summaries and monthly reports • Fully responsive front end so lawyers can review files on phone, tablet or d
