About this role

JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Software Development, Web Development, Frontend Development, User Experience Research · I’m building a maths square that works as a self-contained educational tool. It should walk learners of any age—children, teenagers, or adults—through number-square patterns while strengthening their arithmetic skills.

The single must-have feature is progress tracking. Learners need to pick up where they left off, see what they’ve mastered, and feel a sense of achievement. A simple dashboard that records completion, scores, or streaks will cover this; badges or light gamification are welcome if they keep the focus on learning.

I expect you to design and code the application, shape the exercises around the square, and thread the tracking logic through the experience. A web-based build is ideal for ease of access in classrooms and homes, yet I’m open to a lightweight desktop version if you can show clear advantages. Adding subtle puzzle elements is fine so long as the educational objective remains front and center.

Deliverables • Fully functioning maths square application (web-first preferred) • Integrated, reliable progress-tracking system • Concise setup and usage guide
