About this role
Mobile App Development, Android, 3D Rendering, 3D Modelling, 2D Drafting, 2D Layout, Android App Development, API Development · I need our raw CAD or PDF floor plans transformed into a structured 2D/3D indoor map that spans several levels of a very large venue. Once the mapping layer is ready, the next step is to build a positioning and navigation engine that relies on BLE beacons blended with the phone’s accelerometer, gyroscope and compass so users see their live position and heading with high reliability.
The core of the assignment is the SDK/API itself; later we will drop it into an Android app, so please architect everything with clean interfaces, documented calls and minimal external dependencies. Accuracy, fast initial fix, and smooth hand-offs between floors are crucial. Stairs, elevators, escalators, corridors, gates and individual rooms must all be routable, and the engine should always calculate the optimal path, then automatically reroute if a visitor strays.
Deliverables • Parsed and structured multi-floor map (2D & 3D layers) generated from the supplied plans • BLE-sensor-fusion positioning module showing real-time location & orientation • Turn-by-turn routing with dynamic reroute logic across floors and vertical connectors • Well-documented SDK/API ready for integration into an Androi
