About this role
PHP, Mobile App Development, Android, HTML5, Mobile App Testing, Mobile Development, Android App Development, Android SDK, Android UI Design, Mobile App Audit · I’m putting the final touches on a new Android utility app and Google’s review team is next in line. Before I press submit, I’d like twelve fresh sets of eyes and devices to run the release-candidate APK through its paces.
The build is Android-only, so you’ll simply sideload the file, explore every screen, push every button, and let me know how it behaves. I’m counting on you to concentrate on four areas:
• User interface and experience – does everything feel intuitive, responsive and visually polished? • Functionality and performance – any crashes, slow loads, or odd behaviour under normal or heavy use? • Security and privacy – look for unintended data exposure, permissions that feel excessive, or flows that could be tightened. • “Rubber stamp” – the final confidence check that nothing obvious has been missed before I send it to Google.
Deliverables for each tester • A concise report (template provided) listing steps to reproduce any issues, screenshots or screen recordings where helpful, and your overall confidence score in the build. • Completion within 48 hours of receiving the APK so I can aggregate results quickly.
