About this role

JavaScript, MySQL, Node.js, Web Hosting, Full Stack Development, Backend Development, Frontend Development, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Prisma · I run a growing web-development agency in Bengaluru and need a reliable full-stack engineer who can jump straight into an existing Next.js 15 (App Router) code-base, keep it healthy, and steadily improve it. For at least the first three to six months you will concentrate on maintaining and optimizing existing code rather than building green-field features. That means tracking down bugs, tightening database queries written with Prisma ORM against MySQL 8.0, cleaning up React 19 components, and squeezing more speed out of TailwindCSS-styled pages served behind Nginx.

Time commitment starts at 10–15 hours per month; if we work well together I expect that to grow toward 40–60 hours monthly. You will work remotely and independently, but the workflow is structured—Git branches, concise pull-request descriptions, and occasional video check-ins.

Initial focus areas • Bug fixing and regression testing across both frontend and backend • Performance tuning (query optimisation, bundle size reduction, caching strategies) • Light CMS support and refactors that modernise older patterns to current best practices

Acceptance criteria for each ticket • All automated tests and CI checks pas
