About this role
Python, Amazon Web Services · I run a suite of Python-based automated strategies from my home office in Sunder Vihar, West Delhi and need reliable, hands-on cover every trading day. From 8:45 AM until the Indian market closes at roughly 3:45 PM you will sit next to the live systems, powering them up, keeping them healthy and intervening the moment anything drifts off script.
The workflow begins with launching and sanity-checking every algo, then linking them to the required broker APIs—ICICI Direct, Angel Broking, TradeTron and Define Edge—before the opening bell. Throughout the session you track orders, positions and real-time P&L, watch for API token drops, restart any hung processes and keep detailed logs. Our stack runs partly on an AWS EC2 instance and partly on a local laptop, so both environments must stay synchronised, patched and backed up, with a second “hot spare” machine ready to take over if the primary stalls.
Small code tweaks are common: a changed symbol, a timing adjustment, maybe an extra risk check. You should be comfortable editing and testing these Python snippets quickly, validating them on paper trades first and only then pushing them live. I also rely on you to maintain the emergency
