About this role

JavaScript, NoSQL Couch & Mongo, MySQL, HTML5, AngularJS, Git, Angular, Spring Boot · I run a production site built with Angular on the front-end, Spring Boot on the back-end, and a MySQL database. Everything is stable right now, and I’d like to keep it that way. I’m looking for someone who can step in whenever an issue crops up—whether it’s a bug, a small feature enhancement, or a database tune-up—and get us back to green quickly.

The rhythm is “as needed.” Some weeks you may do nothing; other weeks a sudden regression, security patch, or schema change might demand immediate attention. I’m comfortable letting the person who takes on this role propose the most efficient channel for reporting and tracking tasks—email, ticket tool, chat, or whatever you prefer—so long as it keeps communication clear.

What matters most is quick turnaround, clean Git commits, and solutions that don’t introduce new surprises. You should already be fluent in:

• Angular (latest LTS) • Spring Boot / Java • MySQL administration and performance tuning

Typical deliverables: 1. Fixed and tested code pushed to the repo with a concise change log. 2. An informal deployment or rollback guide when relevant. 3. A short summary of what was done and why.
