We need to integrate a reliable payment gateway into our e-commerce website for a business operating in Pakistan. The payment system should allow customers to securely complete online payments during checkout using locally supported payment methods such as debit/credit cards, JazzCash, Easypaisa, and Raast, depending on the selected gateway.
The integration should include a secure checkout flow, payment verification, automatic order-status updates after successful or failed transactions, webhook handling, refund support where available, and proper error handling. The solution should be fully responsive and work smoothly across desktop and mobile devices.
The developer should recommend and integrate a payment gateway that supports Pakistan-based businesses, complies with the gateway's verification requirements, and provides suitable APIs/SDKs for our website's technology stack.
