PHP, JavaScript, Excel, Firefox, Google Chrome, Debugging, Software Development, Web Development, Frontend Development, API Integration · I already use a small custom Chrome extension that imports a list of names from an Excel file, lets me edit the list, and then produces a plain-text draft I can paste wherever I need. I’d like to bolt on one more action that runs immediately after that draft is generated. The exact behaviour is simple and I’ll walk you through it when we start; it should be no more than a half-hour tweak for someone comfortable with JavaScript and the Chrome extension APIs.
What I need from you: • Update the existing codebase to add the new post-draft action. • Keep the current workflow intact—Excel import, list editing, name selection, draft creation must remain unchanged. • Provide clear in-code comments so I can follow the adjustment later. • Supply the rebuilt extension (packed or unpacked) plus any modified source files.
