PHP, WordPress, Troubleshooting, MySQL, HTML, Website Management, Web Development, Website Optimization · My WordPress site has suddenly gone down with a “500 Internal Server Error” right after I updated several plugins and themes. The front-end is completely inaccessible, yet I can still log into the WP admin area.
I need someone who can jump in right away, trace the exact cause, and bring the site back online without data loss. You’re free to work through the dashboard, FTP/SSH, or hosting control panel—whatever gets the job done fastest and safest.
Deliverables • Restore the site so every page loads normally with no 500 errors • Provide a brief summary of what caused the issue and the steps you took to resolve it • Advise on any plugins, themes, or server settings that should be updated, rolled back, or removed to prevent a repeat
Acceptance Criteria The homepage and main inner pages must load error-free, I must be able to log in to WordPress as usual, and your summary should give me a clear record of the fix.
