PHP, Software Architecture, MySQL, HTML, Laravel, Database Management, API Development, SaaS Development · The platform is a live, production-grade staff and business management application covering daily sales & cash entry, expenses, petty-cash, staff management, rostering, stock, suppliers and detailed reporting. Built on PHP/Laravel, it is already embedded across several of our own locations and has real users, real data and real-time operational demands.
The next stage is to evolve this single-tenant codebase into a scalable, multi-tenant SaaS product without rewriting it from scratch. The work begins with a deep code and architecture review, then moves into refactoring for tenancy, tightening up existing modules, and layering in robust role-based access control that cleanly separates:
• Super Admin (manages customers, plans, subscription status) • Business Admin / Manager • Standard Staff
Core additions now required 1. Multi-tenant architecture: database isolation or schema separation, tenant discovery and onboarding flows. 2. Subscription & billing: integrate a payment gateway (e.g., Stripe, Braintree) for plan creation, trials, invoicing and proration. 3.
