I can perform a structured Network Vulnerability Assessment to identify potential security weaknesses in an authorized network environment. The assessment includes understanding the network topology, IP addressing, subnetting, network devices, services, and communication protocols before conducting security testing.
The project covers:
Network Discovery: Identify live hosts and understand the network structure. Port & Service Enumeration: Analyze open ports and running services using Nmap. Network Architecture Analysis: Review routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and client systems. Protocol Analysis: Examine commonly used protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, DNS, DHCP, FTP/SFTP, and SMTP. Vulnerability Assessment: Identify outdated software, insecure configurations, exposed services, and potential vulnerabilities using authorized security-scanning tools. Risk Analysis: Classify findings according to their potential security impact and priority. Security Recommendations: Provide practical remediation steps such as patching, service hardening, firewall configuration, access-control improvements, and disabling unnecessar
