About this role
JavaScript, Shopify, Typescript, Web Development, API, Backend Development, Shopify Development, GraphQL, API Integration, Web Application · I need a developer to build a custom auction experience for a Shopify store.
The required flow:
1. Customer clicks Bid on the product page. 2. No Shopify account or signup is required. 3. Customer verifies their phone number through WhatsApp OTP. 4. Once verified, they can place bids normally. 5. Customers receive WhatsApp notifications when they are outbid or win. 6. When the auction ends, the winner receives a unique secure link through WhatsApp. 7. The link opens the original product page at the final winning price. 8. Winner can Add to Cart, add other products if desired, then use normal Shopify checkout.
The auction UI should be integrated into the Shopify theme and match the store design. A secure backend/server will be required for the auction integration, OTP, webhooks, notifications and winner flow.
Shopify checkout must remain standard. The store is on Shopify Basic, not Plus.
