About this role
PHP, Mobile App Development, iPhone, Objective C, App Design, UI / User Interface, React Native, Flutter · I’m kicking off a mobile-first social networking platform and need an experienced app developer who can take the lead on the very first release. The initial milestone is all about rock-solid user profiles: smooth sign-up and login, editable bios, avatar upload, privacy settings, and a clean profile view that feels instantly familiar to anyone who has used Instagram, Threads or X.
While messaging and content sharing will come later, I want the architecture you build now to leave room for those features so we never have to re-engineer core components. Think modular code, well-documented APIs and a database schema that scales gracefully.
React Native or Flutter are both fine—pick the framework you feel you can move fastest with while still delivering native-level polish. Clean UI, snappy performance and secure authentication (OAuth or Firebase Auth) are non-negotiables.
Deliverables • Clickable Figma or Adobe XD prototype illustrating every user-profile screen • Source code for iOS and Android (Git repo access) • Brief setup guide and README so another dev can run the project locally in minutes • Short test plan covering sign-up, login, profile edit and privacy toggle flows
