About this role
PHP, JavaScript, Python, HTML, Node.js, Web Development, Vue.js, Svelte, Database Management, API Development · I’m building an M7-branded website whose sole focus is to surface clear, reliable statistics for football players. The goal is simple: visitors arrive, type a name, club, or competition, and instantly see a dashboard that tells the on-field story in numbers. No rankings, no opinion pieces—just the raw stats that matter, refreshed match-by-match.
I already have a shortlist of key metrics in mind and an API subscription that supplies official league data; what I need now is a developer who can turn that feed into an attractive, responsive front end and a clean back-end structure that keeps everything fast. Think modern JavaScript (React, Vue, or Svelte are all fine), a lightweight Node or Python service layer, and a database optimised for rapid look-ups.
Core deliverables • Responsive web interface styled to M7 guidelines • API ingestion script with automated daily updates • Database schema tailored for per-player, per-match stats • Deployment to my existing VPS, with environment variables for keys
