About this role

PHP, C# Programming, Software Architecture, C++ Programming, Software Development, Backend Development, API Development, API Integration · My C#-based desktop trading front end now needs a direct, real-time link to Sterling Trader Pro. The goal is full API integration that goes beyond a simple data feed: live quotes and depth, every order type Sterling supports, position & risk updates, plus a back-testing harness on the same codebase so strategies can run historically before they trade live.

The current application is stable and well-structured; what is missing is the Sterling layer—authentication, session management, event handling, and the conversion of our existing order objects to Sterling’s message format. All work must remain in C# and respect Sterling’s API guidelines.

Deliverables • Connection module that authenticates and maintains a persistent Sterling session • Real-time market data stream wired to our existing UI models • Order router handling market, limit, stop, synthetic, and algo orders, with callbacks for partials, cancels, rejects, and fills • Risk/position synchronization pulled from Sterling at configurable intervals • Back-testing wrapper that reuses the same order/execution code path against historical data sets • Brief setup document and commented code for internal maintenance
