About this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality email templates and web UI components .

• Establish and enforce front-end development standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks .

• Ensure pixel-perfect, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible UIs and emails.

• Review code, conduct performance audits, and resolve complex UI and rendering issues across varied email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.).

• Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, design, product) to plan and prioritize front-end and email initiatives.

• Mentor and coach frontend developers, fostering a culture of code quality and continuous improvement.

• Oversee the integration of email templates with marketing platforms (e.g., Zeta, Braize, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

• Stay current on front-end trends, tools, and frameworks, especially in the email development ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in frontend development , including at least 2 years in a lead or senior developer role.

• Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and Bootstrap .

• Ability to mentor and coach other developers to achieve better quality and velocity

• Advanced knowledge of responsive email development , including inline CSS , table-based layouts.

• Deep understanding of email client limitations and how to work around them (e.g., inline CSS, table-based layouts, etc.).

• Demonstrated experience ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.

• Familiarity with front-end tooling (e.g., Webpack, Gulp), version control (Git), and CI/CD processes.

• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
