About this role
PHP, JavaScript, Python, Web Scraping, Software Architecture, Automation, API Development, Telegram API · I have a source Telegram channel with well over a thousand people. I am only a regular member there, yet I’d like to pull out just the recently active accounts and move them into a second channel that I own and administer.
Here is what I need from you:
• A working method (Python / Telethon, TDLib, or another reliable approach) to scrape the member list, filter for users who have been active recently, and then add them to my destination channel automatically. • The solution must cope with Telegram’s rate limits and any relevant policies, so batching and delay logic are essential. • A short read-me that lets me rerun the process whenever I want, plus any API keys or configuration tips required. • Proof of concept: after we test, at least a small sample of transferred users should already appear in my channel to confirm the script works before final hand-off.
If you have done similar Telegram automations before, especially where the scraper had no admin privileges on the source side, your experience will help a lot. Let me know the rough timeline you’d need and any prerequisites from my end (session files, phone numbers, etc.).
