About this role
PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, Software Architecture, Website Management · I need a WordPress pro to bring every plugin on bajanlist.com fully up to date, make sure nothing breaks in the process, and then re-organise all category listings so they appear in clean alphabetical order across the entire site.
Plugin side: I’m not certain whether new extensions are required, so I’d like your advice on anything that could improve security, speed, or ease of maintenance while you’re inside the dashboard. We’ll take a backup first, run updates in a staging environment, then push to live only after everything checks out. If a premium licence is needed for a vital add-on, flag it before purchase.
Category ordering: every front-end and back-end view that exposes the site’s categories needs to reflect the same alphabetical logic. I haven’t decided whether the sort should be case-sensitive or not, so please recommend the best practice and implement whichever approach you feel keeps the list intuitive for visitors.
Deliverables will be: • All plugins current and functioning on the live site • Categories displaying in correct alphabetical order everywhere • A brief change log and any recommendations for future upkeep
