About this role

PHP, WordPress, Software Testing, MySQL, HTML, Web Development, Website Optimization, Web Application Audit · I need the entire code-base of my website brought up to full compatibility with PHP 8.4. The site currently runs user authentication and a blog, and it relies on several custom plugins that will all need individual attention during the upgrade.

Because I’m not yet sure which functions or libraries will break, I’m looking for someone who can first audit the project, flag anything deprecated, and then refactor or replace it so the site runs error-free in a PHP 8.4 environment. That includes combing through core files, the theme, and every custom plugin to make sure type declarations, strict comparisons, and any new engine changes are handled correctly.

Deliverables • Comprehensive compatibility audit report • Updated source code for core site and all custom plugins • Functional testing proof (authentication flow, blog CRUD) on PHP 8.4 • Clear change-log so I can track what was modified

I’ll provide full repository access and a staging server running PHP 8.4 for validation.

The web is make in wordpress, and use the theme Avada 5.6.2 version, the version is registred , and i need update the theme to Avada 7.16.1.
