About this role

PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML, phpMyAdmin, Web Development, Website Optimization, cPanel · My WordPress site has gone down across the board—every page now throws either an HTTP 500 or a 408 timeout. No plugins or themes were added or updated recently, so the root cause is not obvious from my end. I need the site restored to full normal operation as quickly as possible and the underlying issue explained so it doesn’t recur.

Typical access is via cPanel, phpMyAdmin, and the WordPress dashboard (when it works), and I can supply FTP/SFTP credentials and server logs right away.

Deliverables: • Restore front-end and admin area so all pages load without 500 or 408 responses • Identify and repair the core issue (server mis-config, corrupted file, database problem, etc.) • Provide a concise post-fix report outlining what went wrong and the exact steps taken to resolve it

Completion is accepted when the entire site loads consistently, response times are normal, and no 500 or 408 codes appear in the logs for 24 hours.
